Stoke City’s 3-2 win over Birmingham on Tuesday night put an end to Stoke’s four game losing streak in the Premier League while Liverpool’s 1-1 draw with Wigan the following evening ended our three game winning streak. Any momentum that was being built up following NESV’s takeover, combined with four wins on the spin, was somewhat derailed by a poor showing at the JJB Stadium.
