“Do I not like that” screamed by the then England manager Graham Taylor – in one of the most famous lines ever captured on a football documentary – is also a prime example of the ‘anything goes’ feel you get with the best football documentaries. All access. All revealing. Based purely on the first episode of the new six-part series to be shown first on FOX in the US (16th September) and then on Channel 5 in the UK (21st September) ‘Being:Liverpool’ is not that, at all.
