It’s been a funny start to the campaign for the two teams that finished 5th and 6th last season. Tottenham have had a poor start to the season having their season opener against Everton postponed, then promptly losing 3-0 at Man Utd before suffering a humiliating 5-1 defeat at home to Man City in their first game at White Hart Lane. Liverpool won two and drew one in their first three PL games and it was all positive for Dalglish and the Reds. Then came a defeat against Stoke and now, according to certain bastions of knowledge in the media, the club is in crisis once again, with Kenny cracking up in the process. It is indeed a funny old game.
