Matchday 4 in the Champions League sees Liverpool travel to Serbia to face Red Star Belgrade on Tuesday – 5.55pm kick off UK time – with the Reds looking to strengthen their position at the top of Group C, following the 4-0 win over the Serbian outfit at Anfield a fortnight ago.
With Napoli hosting PSG, Liverpool need to take full advantage of one or both sides dropping points by leaving Serbia with a victory, before we travel to Paris on Matchday 5 and finishing of the group stages with a home match against Napoli. Victory for both Liverpool and Napoli on Tuesday would leave PSG with the very real prospect of dropping down to the Europa League, which would be a sight to behold given the French side’s array of talent, obscene wealth and utter domination of the French league.
