The spark for this look at three of the Reds’ most promising young talents arrived when I came across the Guardian’s ‘Next Generation’ series recently, and was shocked to find three of Liverpool’s current academy prospects included. In fairness though, seeing the names of Edvard Tagseth and Curtis Jones was expected. These two have been tipped and on the radar for a couple of years now, with Jones even making the first team bench at times this season. It was the name of Yasser Larouci that came as a surprise, as I’d never even heard of him. Potentially one of the 60 best young talents in Europe, playing for the u18s, and I honestly couldn’t recall us signing him, or even seeing him when I had watched that age group. The only solution to a conundrum like that? Wyscout!
