There’s been so much movement – out on loan, between the age groups at the Academy, Jürgen Klopp dipping in to steal a few players away, international escapades, coaches such as a certain Stevie G have come and gone and Pep Lijnders moved up a level and come back again….
It’s been hard to keep track, not least because there’s been such a random mix of leagues and styles of football, it makes it very difficult to ascertain what level the players have been playing at and therefore if progress has been made.
