From the time I moved to London from New York last November I knew it would not be long before I would have the opportunity to visit Anfield for the first time. My mate Blake from back in the US (fellow TTT subscriber wby1916) expressed an interest in coming to visit and making our first pilgrimage together – it was great to go with my longtime close friend. We went for hospitality tickets since he had to book travel and as long as we were going to have to pay a premium to secure tickets we figured it better for the money to go to the club than some dodgy website.
I took the train up Friday morning from London Euston to Liverpool Lime Street and he flew in from the US, via Dublin. We spent Friday wandering around the city, seeing the sights and popping into various pubs for a pint here and there. Thanks for the recommendation Gary, we thoroughly enjoyed the Ship and Mitre.
