Liverpool Football Club yesterday confirmed they have reached an agreement to sign Cameroon defender Joel Matip.
The 24-year-old will join the Reds in the summer following the conclusion of his current deal with FC Schalke.
He becomes Jürgen Klopp’s third signing for the Reds after the capture of Marko Grujic from Red Star Belgrade and Steven Caulker on loan from QPR.
