Liverpool head into December in 2nd place in the Premier League and with seven league games scheduled for the final month of the calendar year, a victory over Hull City at the KC Stadium on Sunday afternoon – 2.05pm kick off UK time – would be a good way to enter what will be the busiest period of the season for the Reds, and one that will test our squad to its limits.

Hull occupy 13th place and it’s their home form that has kept them clear of the relegation zone so far this season, having picked up 11 points from a possible 18 at the KC Stadium, although they did suffer their first defeat on home soil last Saturday when Crystal Palace secured a 1-0 victory. The Tigers like to keep it tight at home with only two goals conceded – the joint best at home in the division alongside Manchester City and Southampton – while their total of four goals scored is the joint lowest shared with Crystal Palace.
