Liverpool will be looking to maintain their 100% record against Bournemouth on Sunday – 1.30pm kick off UK time – when they travel to Dean Court to face Eddie Howe’s team. Sunday’s encounter will be just the second ever league meeting between the two sides, with Liverpool sealing a 1-0 win over Bournemouth back in August thanks to a Christian Benteke strike on his Anfield debut.
Despite a poor start to the Premier League campaign with a record of just two wins, four draws and eight defeats from their opening 14 league games, Bournemouth have gone on to exceed all expectations this season by securing their Premier League status for a second season. They have lost six of their last 21 in the league with two of those defeats – 0-3 at Spurs and 0-4 at home to Man City – coming in their last three games. Their last Premier League outing was a 2-1 victory against doomed Aston Villa at Villa Park.
