Raphinha has been widely linked with a move to Liverpool over the past six or so months. There was a quote from his agent Deco in October which said – “Liverpool liked Raphinha and had a close look at him during the summer transfer window.”
Now, if the player’s agent is openly saying that, then it has to be believed that the club has done some work in terms of scouting, looking at the potential he has as a player and what he could bring to the team.
The 24-year-old (soon to be 25 in December) is now a full Brazil international, having enhanced his stock upon his arrival at Leeds United in October of last year. He has scored 11 goals and assisted a further nine in 40 league appearances for the club, along with doing a good job with regard to creating chances, being a constant involvement in the build-up play and a swift operator in counter-attacks.
During his time at Elland Road, Raphinha has become not just a crowd favourite but also an FPL favourite for the ones who play that game (if you know what I mean!).
