This season may be long and demanding but it’s increasingly looking full of exciting possibilities for Liverpool. Next up for the Reds it’s St.Mary’s, scene of our 6-1 Capital Cup victory, kick off Sunday 1.30pm UK time.

With the Saints currently above us on goal difference – though the Reds have two games in hand – and one eye still on the faint possibility of a top 4 finish, Liverpool will be looking to avoid defeat at the very least, and ideally continue their recent good form with another away league win to follow Palace.

Liverpool won the corresponding fixture last season 2-0, with goals from Coutinho and Sterling.
