For the second consecutive week Liverpool feature on Monday Night Football closing out Matchweek three with the small matter of a trip to the Emirates Stadium to face Arsenal – 8pm kick off UK time – in store for Brendan Rodgers’ side. The Gunners have made a patchy start to the new season losing their opening game at the Emirates to West Ham, going down 0-2 before overcoming Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park by two goals to one last Sunday.

Although Liverpool’s performances have hardly set the league alight, it’s points on the board not flashy performances that matter at this stage of the season with many players still short of match fitness and yet to build an understanding with their new team mates, so maximum points from our opening two games should not be downplayed.
