Liverpool’s final home game of 2012 sees the Reds face Martin Jol’s Fulham, with a 5.30pm kick off UK time. We’ve endured a poor time at Anfield over recent seasons, but with just five league victories at Anfield over the past 12 months, it’s clear we need to vastly improve upon our record at home if we want to achieve a top ten finish come the end of the season.

Liverpool’s Premier League record at Anfield under Brendan Rodgers:

  • P: 9 W: 3 D: 3 L: 3 F: 10 A: 10 GD: 0 Pts: 12

Liverpool’s Premier League record at Anfield for the calendar year 2012 prior to the Fulham fixture:

  • P: 18 W: 5 D: 6 L: 7 F: 20 A: 18 GD: +2 Pts: 21

Fulham have failed to score in eight of their previous 11 league visits to Anfield, but they secured their first ever victory at L4 in the corresponding fixture last season, due to an own goal from Martin Skrtel. That victory also secured the Cottagers’ first league double over the Reds.

Martin Jol’s side currently sit one place below Liverpool in 13th and have won just one of their last nine league games – a 2-1 home victory over Newcastle. They have picked up only one league victory on their travels this season; a 2-1 win over Wigan Athletic.

The match day officials for this fixture are:

Referee: M. Clattenburg Assistants: S. Child, S. Beck Fourth official: A. Marriner.
