Clusterf*cking hell, is the phrase I’d use, but somebody nicked it. Shambolic. Error-strewn nonsense. Moments of madness compounded onto moments of madness to create a whirlpool of chaotic defending. Should we focus on it? Should we pick out every single error, blame the individual components relentlessly and extrapolate the conclusions onto the rest of the season? Or try to put it in context: is this the norm? When teams attack us, is this a likely scenario? What does the underlying data in this match tell us, and is there anything else comparable?
