Liverpool head to the south coast sitting second in the Premier League, one point behind leaders Chelsea, after a run of form which has seen them win eight of their last 10 league games. Eddie Howe’s Bournemouth side are struggling somewhat, despite performing well away at Arsenal last weekend, and have only won one of their last five games.

The Cherries have never won against the Reds in their entire history, and because of their style of play might struggle to win again because of a reluctance to sit deeper and restrict the space. However, Liverpool’s worst performance this season came away from home, at Swansea, when they conceded five big chances (with four in the first half); so maybe teams will have more success if they take the game to Klopp’s side (although they could also get destroyed).
