Liverpool return to Fortress Anfield on Saturday at 3pm to face David Moyes’ Sunderland side, who managed to set the lowest ever points total in Premier League history after ten matches, before winning two games on the bounce against Bournemouth and Hull to prise them off the bottom of the table.

The Reds have never lost to Sunderland at home in the Premier League, and their form at home this season suggests that run will continue. Although, the last meeting between the two sides at Anfield ended in a draw – and will be known for the walkout protest, at 2-0 up, at rising ticket prices by many of the home fans.
