In-order for Liverpool to leapfrog Manchester City and secure a 20th league title, the Reds will need to defeat Wolves and for Aston Villa to prevent Manchester City winning at the Etihad. Given Guardiola’s side haven’t failed to win back-to-back league games since December 2020, the odds are not in Liverpool’s favour but stranger things have happened over the years.
