Liverpool suffered a first home defeat in over a year with the midweek Champions League 2nd leg loss against Inter Milan, but the Reds’ third defeat of the season in all competitions wasn’t enough to prevent Klopp’s side from progressing to yet another quarter-final this season.
The Champions League quarter-final draw is currently scheduled to take place on March 18 in Nyon, Switzerland, with 1st leg ties to be played on 5/6 April and the 2nd legs on 12/13 April. Liverpool host Watford (April 2) before the 1st leg and the visit to Manchester City (April 10) takes place before the 2nd leg, so stakes are getting increasingly higher game by game.
