Savour that one… The joy of scoring our first open play goal for eons; the pain of watching them slowly and painfully disallow it; then it finally happening in the second half with Salah heading home to equalise; but that wasn’t the last act, that was still to come: Trent Alexander-Arnold, outside of the crowded penalty box seemingly with no avenue for the ball, uses his magic wand of a right-foot to thread it in and score a late, late winner. We got to a celebrate a goal. No VAR paralysis. A win, at last, at Anfield. Hopefully it’ll be sixty-five games until we speak of defeat again!
