If ever there was a game of two halves, this was it because the contrast between the two was stark: on the 44th minute, the combined xG was a meagre 0.3 – shared evenly between the two sides – in the second half the Reds produced one of the best counterattack goals in history, sandwiched between two other superb strikes. Six goals in four days, all in London, and more crucially a full return of points to move us back into the top three.
