Liverpool’s final game of 2020 is a trip to the North East to face Newcastle Utd on Wednesday evening in an 8pm kick off (UK time).
The Reds are faced with three consecutive away games – including the visit to my hometown – with a trip down south to Southampton for our first match of 2021, followed by a trip to the Midlands to face Aston Villa in the 3rd round of the FA Cup, before returning to Anfield for the small matter of hosting Manchester Utd in the Premier League. There is no ‘winter break’ this season due to the campaign being five weeks shorter following the delayed end to the previous season due to the impact of COVID-19.
