Liverpool welcome Arsenal to Anfield on Monday evening – 8pm kick off UK time – and follow that up with another home game against the Gunners in the League Cup on Thursday (TBC), following Liverpool’s emphatic 7-2 hammering of Lincoln City in the 3rd round of the League Cup on Thursday evening.
The Gunners and the Reds have already met once this season – in the Community Shield at Wembley – with the match ending 1-1 following Taki Minamino’s 73rd minute strike cancelling out Aubameyang’s 12th minute opener. Arsenal went on to lift the Community Shield following a 5-4 win on penalties.
