A month that started so positively with three wins against Burnley (A), Everton (H) and Manchester City (H), has seen the usual negativity, doom and gloom come bubbling to the surface following back-to-back defeats against Swansea (Premier League) and West Brom (FA Cup).
The Reds travel to Huddersfield on Tuesday – 8pm kick off UK time – where David Wagner’s side will be hoping to add to Liverpool’s troubles. The Terriers suffered a 0-3 defeat at Anfield back in October and have won just two of their last 13 Premier League matches – 2-0 v Brighton at home and 4-1 at Watford – losing eight and drawing three, which has left them in 14th place and two points clear of the relegation zone.
