The 2016/17 Premier League season comes to a close on Sunday with the Reds welcoming already relegated Middlesbrough to Anfield; 3pm kick off UK time. Liverpool are guaranteed at least a 4th place finish with a win against the Smoggies on Sunday but there still remains a possibility of a play-off – if certain results occur on Sunday – to determine exactly who finishes where.
Middlesbrough have won just once away from home in the league all season, drawing seven (joint most in the division with W.B.A.), scoring ten goals (second lowest) and conceding 27 (the fewest in the lower half of the table and ranked 7th), so expect another parked bus themed afternoon.
