Liverpool’s first match of 2022 is a trip to Stamford Bridge to face Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea on Sunday afternoon. Both sides have faltered recently resulting in Manchester City opening up a sizeable gap at the top of the table and with Arsenal hosting Man City (the Gunners have won none of the last 12 league meetings with Man City, drawing two), this fixture is the very definition of a ‘must win’ for both teams if they want to prevent City from strolling to yet another league title.
