Liverpool travel to Yorkshire on Sunday evening to face bottom of the table Sheffield United at Bramall Lane in a 7.15pm kick-off UK time.
The Reds then have three consecutive home games in March – against Chelsea, Fulham and RB Leipzig – followed by a trip to Wolves before the next international break.
Chris Wilder’s side had an appalling start to the season picking up just two points from their opening 17 matches. Their first Premier League victory of the season came against Newcastle United in a 1-0 win on January 12.
They followed that success by winning two of the following four matches: a 2-1 victory at Manchester United and a 2-1 win at home against West Bromwich Albion. They enter this fixture on the back of three consecutive defeats in the league and sit a whopping 14 points off the safety zone.
Liverpool recorded a 2-1 win over the Blades at Anfield back in October with goals from Roberto Firmino and Diogo Jota cancelling out Sander Berge’s 13th minute penalty. The Reds have won all three Premier League meetings between the teams since United returned to the top flight in 2019.
