As Andrew Beasley mentioned on the match thread, this was the Reds’ highest xG in a match without scoring since 2018. The chances we created in this game were enough to win, but sometimes the world’s best forwards miss simple chances as well. It’s fairly random. It’s also fairly frustrating.
