Liverpool’s injury ravaged and weary warriors booked their place in the last 16 of the Champions League on Tuesday evening – with one match to spare – and next do battle with a pack of Wolves at Anfield on Sunday evening, in a 7.15pm kick off UK time.
Sunday’s fixture will also mark the first time Liverpool supporters – albeit only 2000 – will be in attendance to see the Premier League champions in action for the first time, with the last occasion supporters of any number were allowed into Anfield being the 2-3 defeat against Atletico Madrid in the Champions League back in March.
