Based on our previous results against Man City, this is a welcome point. Based on the fact De Bruyne missed a penalty at one-all, maybe it is a slightly fortunate point. And yet, had he scored, there’s no way in the world we see a second half like that one because the game state would have dictated we had to take more risk and attack. The only downside then was the injury to Alexander-Arnold, who could miss between four and eight weeks depending on the severity of the strain. Finally, what do the underlying shot and expected goals figures say about this game though?
