In truth, after waiting thirty years to win the league, it wasn’t part of the script to get thumped four-nil – against our closest rivals – in the first football since the coronation. The points record is important. Setting benchmarks that may never be beaten is important. And yet, if you spend a week celebrating, there is usually a hangover. At times, it felt like we were watching a drunk Andrew Robertson.
