Post-Match Analysis: Liverpool 2-1 Bournemouth

Repeat: the only thing that matters at this stage is the result. A full-on ninety minute masterclass – like away at Bournemouth – when we had four big chances, but more importantly didn’t concede a single shot on target, or a big chance after attempting 21 shots to the Cherries’ three, would be great. This victory – the 22nd home win in a row – was a record-breaking three points that overtook Shankly’s famous team, and cemented this wonderful team in the history books (again). The underlying stats, unfortunately, suggest the Reds are still in a little bit of a funk since the winter break as we continue to concede high quality chances, with a little help from our PGMOL ‘friends’.
