With the deal now officially confirmed, despite Liverpool still needing to agree a compensation fee for the 16 year old, Harvey Elliott becomes the Reds’ second signing of the summer window (after Sepp van Den Berg). Like the Dutchman, he will go straight in with the first team squad during pre-season:

The England youth international will now be part of the Liverpool squad for Sunday’s friendly against Napoli in Edinburgh and the subsequent training camp in Evian.

As you’ve probably heard by now, he became the youngest ever player in Premier League history at the end of last season, when he came on for Fulham against Wolves aged 16 years and and 30 days.
