Liverpool host Barcelona on Tuesday evening – 8pm kick off UK time – in the Champions League semi-final second leg and the task is clear: win 3-0 to take it to extra-time or by four clear goals if Barca score and the Reds will make it to a second Champions League final in two season.
The odds are heavily stacked against Liverpool however, with injuries hitting key players at the worst possible time and with this match coming just three days after the trip to Newcastle, while Barcelona had the luxury of resting the majority of the XI who featured in the 1st leg win in Spain, as they suffered a 0-2 defeat at Celta Vigo, so any win for the Reds would be a major positive to take away from yet another enthralling European campaign under Jürgen Klopp.
