Thankfully the Liverpool players were not as complacent as, seemingly, the Reds’ fans before the game who assumed this match would be a walk in the park. It turned out to be anything but, with Porto causing two or three problems despite the home team’s early goal. Overall though, this could have easily finished 4-2 and it would have been a fairer reflection, but for Alisson’s excellent goalkeeping.
