Friday night football returns to Anfield for the final time this season with the visit of Huddersfield Town – 8pm kick off UK time – and Liverpool can return to the top of the league with victory against Jan Siewert’s side, with Manchester City not playing at Burnley until Sunday.
Following Man City’s game at Old Trafford on Wednesday evening, both Liverpool and Manchester City have three games remaining in the league and it’s Liverpool’s two games against Barcelona – with the match away at Newcastle sandwiched in-between – that will add extra strain to our resources, while City can kick back and enjoy a full week to recover and prepare before the games against Leicester and Brighton.
