Liverpool travel to Germany for Wednesday’s Champions League Last 16 2nd leg tie against Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena – 8pm kick off UK time – with the Reds knowing a score draw or win of any kind will be enough to seal our participation in the quarter-finals for the second season in a row.
Ajax, Man Utd, Porto and Spurs have already qualified for the quarter-finals, while Man City and Atletico Madrid take first leg leads into the 2nd leg and are favourites to progress. Like Liverpool and Bayern, Barcelona and Lyon drew 0-0 in the first leg in France leaving the tie very much in the balance.
