The Welsh-born winger – who joined the Reds at the age of nine, and looks like he’s hardly aged a day since – made his way through the youth ranks before signing his first professional contract in the summer of 2013-14. That contract was extended until 2025 before he made the loan move to Derby County during the last transfer window. It will be his third loan spell, having spent the first half of 2015/16 with Crewe and the final six months of the last season with Hull City.
