It all started so well! Liverpool created the majority of their chances in the opening period of the game, and it was probably the only time during the match where the Reds seemed like they were in full flow. Unfortunately, it didn’t carry on like that – and at times became a struggle with the home team creating problems, if not always big chances.

The xG shows Liverpool edged it, but the match stats suggest a draw was probably a fair result with both sides having two big chances, and a similar amount of shots – even if the Foxes’ efforts were mostly from distance.
