As Manchester City sail off into the distance,  winning the league title at a canter and seemingly on a level above every other team in the division, it can be quite difficult to assess the standard of those teams trying to cling onto their coattails.

Thankfully one of the finest statistical websites around, Objective Football, has a page that features a number of key team metrics that goes back until 2009. We are getting to the stage where we have nearly a decade’s worth of data to contextualise the best (and worst) teams in the Premier League.

  • Total shots ratio
  • Shots on target ratio
  • Save percentage
