This was a comment on TTT by Terry with added tables and graphs to show how Mo Salah compares to Liverpool’s best goalscorers over the years. We thought it deserved a place of its own here.

We are running out of superlatives for Mo Salah’s stellar performances. I’ve updated the graphs that I’ve posted on TTT before, comparing Mo’s performance to Liverpool’s other elite goalscorers in the Premier League era (as well as going back to the likes of Ian Rush and Roger Hunt beforehand).

To recap, before this season only four Liverpool players in the Premier League era have scored 20+ league goals: Luis Suarez, Robbie Fowler, Fernando Torres, Daniel Sturridge. Fowler and Suarez scored over 20 goals twice. Suarez is the only player to score over 30, netting 31 in 2013-14.
