The half-way point of the Premier League season is fast approaching and game no. 17 sees Alan Pardew’s West Bromwich Albion travel to Anfield on Wednesday evening – 8pm kick off UK time – with the Baggies struggling down in 17th place with just two wins to their name all season.
The 0-4 defeat by Chelsea resulted in Tony Pulis’ sacking with Alan Pardew named as his successor. Pardew is still looking for his first win as West Brom manager following a 0-0 draw with Crystal Palace in his first game in charge, followed by a 0-1 defeat at Swansea at the weekend.
