What happens when you spend all season looking and analysing Liverpool’s transfer targets, mining video clips, compiling stats, even selecting a full XI based on transfer targets only to be fooled when the club decides to sign an old flame? You look stupid, that’s what. Alongside Firmino, this one has been more under-the-radar than most of the Reds’ recent transfers.

Speaking of radars… Ted Knutson posted this one recently:

Did you raise your eyebrows? I bloody did. From my memory, I don’t recall many better radars, other than the obvious names.

He dribbles, he creates, he gets into the box, he shoots, he scores.
