Liverpool’s 2-1 win at Stoke last Saturday could prove to be a significant three points in the hunt for Champions League qualification, with the Reds’ chances increasing following Arsenal’s 0-3 defeat at Crystal Palace on Monday evening, leaving the 6th placed Gunners nine points behind with two games in hand.
Next up for the Reds is a trip to Sandwell Academy The Hawthorns to face West Bromwich Albion Basketball Club on Sunday – 1.30pm kick off UK time – at a ground where Liverpool have won just one of their last six visits in the Premier League. In the reverse fixture at Anfield back in October, goals from Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino secured a fully deserved 2-1 win over the Baggies and our fourth win in 12 matches home and away in the league.
