Part 1 by Gary Fulcher.
Liverpool have ten games remaining to secure Champions League qualification for next season and the first of them is a trip to the Etihad Stadium to face Manchester City on Sunday; 4.30pm kick off UK time.
Pep Guardiola’s side are one place and one point better off than the Reds and have a game in hand, which means a City victory would move them four points clear with the possibility of widening the gap to seven if they win the game in hand against Man Utd. Victory for Liverpool would move us up to third (or second if Spurs fail to beat Southampton earlier on Sunday), strengthening our position in the top four.
