On the back of one point in two games, Chelsea winning every game they play and a constant stream of niggling injuries an away trip to a ground we’d really struggled at in recent years was exactly what we didn’t need. Add to that Boro’s defensive solidity against some of our rivals, and this looked like a banana skin of epic proportions.
