Part One by Gary Fulcher.
Liverpool host Watford at Anfield on Sunday afternoon – 2.15pm kick off UK time – with the Reds hoping to extend their unbeaten run to 12 matches overall and nine in the Premier League. Walter Mazzari’s side sit in 7th and are unbeaten in their last four Premier League games, recording two wins and two draws.
The Hornets have kept three consecutive clean sheets since the 2-2 home draw with Bournemouth on October 1, beating Middlesbrough away 1-0, drawing 0-0 at Swansea and beating Hull at home 1-0. Despite those three cleans sheets, Watford have conceded the same amount of goals as Liverpool (13) but have scored 14, ten fewer than the Reds.
Liverpool have won four and lost two of the last six Premier League meetings with Watford home and away, with the corresponding fixture last season ending with a 2-0 win for the Reds.
