Post-Match Analysis: Swansea City (A)

Make no mistake, we should have lost that match. It should have been over after half an hour. Our defending was poor. Our attacking was poor. Our performance was poor. When you concede three big chances in such a short period of time, it was only terrible finishing that kept us in the match. Regression In Action, shall we say?

Make no mistake, coming from behind to claim all three points is a rare event for Liverpool in recent years. To put in such a poor performance in the first 45, and still win, is a huge statement. A statement of intent suggesting that regardless of the performance levels, we have the mentality to turn matches around. Perhaps the most impressive result this season? In Klopp’s image, shall we say?
