EFL Cup quarter-finalists Liverpool travel to Selhurst Park for Saturday’s late kick off – 5.30pm kick off UK time – with the Reds making their 17th visit to Palace’s home, where last season’s corresponding fixture resulted in a 2-1 victory for the Reds, ending a sequence of four games without a win against the Eagles home and away.

Alan Pardew’s side features former Red Christian Benteke, and are another side who like to play the aerial game, ranked no.1 for crosses with 264. The Eagles are without a win in three since the 3-2 victory at Sunderland, drawing 1-1 at Everton, losing 0-1 at home to West Ham and suffering a 1-3 defeat at Leicester.

Liverpool are unbeaten in ten games in all competitions since the 0-2 loss at Burnley and are the joint top scorers in the league with 20 and the joint top scorers away from home with nine, However, only Leicester (13), Hull (12), Burnley and West Ham (both on nine) have conceded more goals away from home than the Reds’ tally of eight.
