It’s been six seasons since Liverpool and Norwich City last met and Saturday’s fixture will be only the ninth time the two clubs have faced each other in the Premier League. Famously, the Canaries were the last official opponents to play at Anfield before the Kop was demolished and turned into an all-seater stand at the end of the 1993/94 season. Unfortunately Norwich ignored the script that day and won the game 1-0 thanks to a strike from Jeremy Goss.
